Not every safety net is poisonous

Not every safety net is poisonous

From a heart that believes that peace is more important than survival

Written by Dr. Lina Ahmed Daba

Not every relationship is warm, and not every hand extended to us wants good.

Sometimes we misread faces, thinking closeness is safety, only to discover later that it's a shackle that slowly weakens our souls.

Toxic relationships don't start with yelling, but with silent betrayal, with words that extinguish your self-confidence without you realizing it.

They don't kill you physically, they drain your energy, they question your worth, and they make you apologize for existing.

Learn to choose someone who gives you peace, not stress, and who sees you as worthy, not a burden.

Bravely walk away from anyone who belittles you, because staying away from harmful people is a cure, and tranquility is a right that cannot be compromised.

Love yourself enough to say, "This closeness hurts me... and I'm leaving."

You deserve a relationship that brings light, not poison.
